

Through these empowerment exercises you will see and acknowledge your active participation in giving yourself the gift of empowerment.
As with all the Life Mastery Skills Exercises, it is highly recommended that you read (or listen to) the introduction first before starting the exercises.
To experience our power, we must be willing to risk giving up our self-imposed limitations. It is not enough to long to be powerful -- we must act and think freely in order to liberate ourselves from concepts, beliefs, and doubts that keep us bound and feeling like a victim.
All concepts and ideas that come from our mind are limited, we are greater and more powerful than any idea or belief. We are the ones who hold the key that unlocks the door to empowerment. It is our life's work to become aware of how we remain slaves to our evaluator (inner judge), our ideas, our feelings, and our reactions, and to learn how this enslavement denies us our birthright of empowerment.
To be fully responsible for ourselves, we must each be willing to re-experience and release the traumatic moments when we felt victimized, and see how our identification with these moments perpetuate our self image of powerlessness. We must become aware each time we are compulsively repeating these reactive patterns in our lives, and without judgment feel compassion and love for ourselves. We must choose to not act out these patterns nor repress them, but rather watch them from a more detached space. We then need to align and identify ourselves with our essential nature by paying attention to and acknowledging its qualities of love, compassion, strength, joy, spontaneity, innocence, wisdom, power and peace in our lives right now. To do this takes daily effort, commitment and loyalty to ourselves.
Use the following Empowerment exercises and the accompanying empowerment affirmations as your guide. They will assist you in recognizing the boundaries you have set up for yourself, which prevent you from feeling and being powerful. Through these processes you will see and acknowledge your active participation in giving yourself the gift of empowerment. The benefits you derive from these exercises will be directly proportionate with the effort and priority you give them.
We recommend you start with the free empowerment skills exercise first. An Empowerment Skills Module is also provided containing ten specifically chosen exercises for those who wish to delve deeper into developing their empowerment skills.
